900 Raleigh Road

One of the earliest homes for a noteworthy Glenview resident, the original owner ("Gus" Flick) served for many years on the Glenview Park Board, with Flick Park being named in his honor.
The steep pitched side-facing roof, and prominent bay window, was typical of the Dutch Colonial revival style which was popular in the 1920s when the Circles was developed.
Beneath the three peaked dormers, there are many other subtle details; the doors and arched garage doorways, which enhance the New England colonial impact.
